Overview

What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement solutions in collaboration with team-members for new features integrating with Disney media services and back-ends
- 2Collaborative API design with peer teams on API Services and front-end teams
- 3Research and development for media playback experiences integration and testing
- 4Participate in project estimation and resource planning
- 5Troubleshoot and resolve issues across various platforms
- 6Specialize in Apple technologies such as UIKit SwiftUI AVKit and StoreKit
- 7Work within a small productive development team or independently
- 8Specialize in building world-class applications for iOS platforms
- 9Demonstrate full lifecycle expertise from early stage maintenance to end of life
- 10Apply OOP principles and modern programming paradigms
- 11Maintain efficient reliable and maintainable code through collaboration
Requirements11
- 1Minimum 5 years industry experience in iOS software development
- 2At least 3 years experience using Swift for complex user interfaces
- 3At least 5 years experience implementing UIKit or SwiftUI
- 4Proven experience with agile processes over multiple years
- 5Understanding of design patterns like MVC or MVVM
- 6Knowledgeable in Object Oriented Programming
- 7Ability to write efficient reliable and maintainable code
- 8Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 9Preferred: Experience with HLS MPEG-DASH Transport Stream and CMAF
- 10Required: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 11Geographic range includes Seattle WA San Francisco NY CA
