- 5Build monitoring and alerting systems for VOD infrastructure
- 6Partner with development teams on feature requests and system optimizations
- 7Lead proof-of-concept projects evaluating new encoding technologies
- 8Design and develop dashboards providing actionable encoding metrics
- 9Maintain reporting infrastructure ensuring data accuracy and reliability
- 10Implement automation solutions for daily operational tasks
- 11Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
Requirements12
- 1Minimum 10 years progressive experience in media engineering roles
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3Expertise designing VOD processing and encoding workflows
- 4Strong knowledge of video codecs including H.264/H.265/AV1 and audio standards
- 5Proficiency with command-line video tools such as FFmpeg and MP4Box
- 6Experience with ABR/OTT technologies including HLS and DASH
- 7Deep understanding of video fundamentals and HDR capabilities
- 8Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS and containerization technologies Docker Kubernetes
- 9Advanced scripting skills in Python Bash or Ruby
- 10Background in building automation tools and reporting systems
- 11Experience with REST APIs and technical documentation
- 12Knowledge of data visualization platforms Grafana Datadog or similar
