Overview
Design and build backend systems APIs and mobile applications for Disney's media advertising and distribution. Lead test automation and tooling initiatives. Drive platform improvements for streaming mobile apps D+ and Hulu. Increase quality through innovation within Quality Engineering.
What You'll Do10
- 1Implement full stack quality solutions with engineering teams
- 2Develop test automation frameworks CI/CD infrastructures build systems and reporting tools for D+ and Hulu
- 3Maintain documentation for end users and contributors
- 4Supply training on automation tools and frameworks
- 5Investigate and resolve environmental issues affecting services
- 6Become core member of Platform & Data Engineering team
- 7Contribute to cross-functional services including Quality Engineering Data Analytics Software Development Broadcast Infrastructure Networking & Security
- 8Own development and maintenance of functional areas of test automation and tooling execution environments and build systems
- 9Check-in valuable clean code adding new features and capabilities
- 10Increase quality through innovation automated test creation curiosity and thoughtful debate
Requirements16
- 1Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2Minimum 3 years related software development experience including test automation for iOS or Android
- 3Minimum 1 year test automation and unit testing experience for iOS or Android
- 4Proficiency in Swift Kotlin Java or Node.js/TypeScript
- 5Strong problem solving skills
- 6Collaboration skills and familiarity with Jira Confluence and GitLab or GitHub
- 7Highly organized detail oriented ability to deliver tasks on time
- 8Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 9Experience delivering production iOSAndroid apps
- 10Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- 11Working with cloud based testing infrastructures such as SauceLabs
- 12Agile methodology experience
- 13Docker Kubernetes Spinnaker and CI/CD systems
- 14Gherkin syntax experience
- 15Advanced mocking mechanisms like rule based proxies and dummy services
- 16Test suite management tools such as JIRA Xray
