Sr Network Engineer, Fortinet & Azure

You will design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure for a global technology services leader. With 5+ years in large-scale production environments, you will own network changes, manage projects, and serve as second-tier support. You will work with Fortinet Firewalls, Azure Networking, and Network Automation tools. What You'll Do9
- 1Write and engineer network device configuration scripts with Python or Ansible to meet project goals and deadlines.
- 2Implement network changes during after-hours change windows, ensuring minimal disruption to production systems.
- 3Review and provide feedback on change documentation from other engineers to maintain high standards.
- 4Establish processes to test applications and devices before deployment, quantifying performance and recommending optimization steps.
- 5Serve as second-tier support for the network operations team, resolving complex issues in Azure and Fortinet environments.
- 6Participate in on-call support escalation rotation to ensure 24/7 network reliability.
- 7Translate business needs into actionable deliverables, managing small to medium internal data network projects.
- 8Create detailed network designs, including physical and logical diagrams, for complex systems using Visio and CAD tools.
- 9Provide technical guidance to associates on data, voice, and mobile network capabilities, leveraging SD-WAN and MPLS technologies.
Requirements9
- 15+ years designing, developing, and implementing large-scale network solutions in production environments.
- 2Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3Expertise with Fortinet Firewalls and Azure Networking in enterprise settings.
- 4Proficiency in network automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
- 5Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
- 6Experience with Palo Alto firewalls is a plus.
- 7Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- 8Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex network issues.
- 9Airline industry experience is preferred.
