Sr Mobile Diesel Technician, Onsite & Field Service
Overview
Own and lead mobile and on-site diesel maintenance for light to heavy-duty fleets at scale. Report to site leadership and collaborate with customers to triage complex repairs. This role blends hands-on diagnostics with field leadership on job sites and customer communication.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and execute scheduled maintenance and DOT inspections for mobile fleets in varying environments
- 2Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic systems using handheld tools and diagnostic equipment
- 3Lead on-site with customers and technicians to ensure timely and quality service on complex repairs
- 4Manage parts inventory and vehicle documentation using company TRAIT application and repair orders
- 5Document findings with photos and accurate DOT forms and maintain safety and compliance on every job
Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of related experience
- 2Or alternative combination of education and 3 years of related experience or 7 years of related experience
- 3Possess and provide a set of hand tools
- 4DOT/FMCSA regulated training and ability to pass pre-employment checks
- 5Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Driver Qualification File
- 6Preferred ASE certifications including ASE T8 PMI and T2 to T7 series
