Sr. MDG Technical Consultant, SAP Data Governance & BODS
Overview
Sr. MDG Technical Consultant owns data assessment and profiling for SAP MDG implementations at Wiselink Global Inc. You drive data mapping, transformation, and cleansing at scale, working with SAP BODS and LSMW/LTMC loading processes. Collaborate with functional teams to resolve data defects and execute cutover plans. This role demands deep technical troubleshooting in hybrid settings, shaping data quality for enterprise clients.
What You'll Do7
- 1Perform data assessment and profiling to identify quality gaps across source systems.
- 2Map data fields and transform processes to align with MDG target structures.
- 3Identify and implement data cleansing and enrichment opportunities for master data.
- 4Load data using LSMW and LTMC, troubleshooting technical issues in real time.
- 5Operate SAP BODS jobs and monitor extraction, transformation, and load flows.
- 6Resolve data defect tickets by analyzing root causes and applying fixes.
- 7Execute cutover plans and support data reconciliation during go-live.
Requirements7
- 15+ years in SAP MDG technical consulting, including data profiling and mapping.
- 2Hands-on SAP BODS experience designing and running data integration jobs.
- 3Expertise with LSMW and LTMC for data load and error handling.
- 4Strong SQL skills for data analysis and defect investigation.
- 5Knowledge of ABAP debugging to troubleshoot MDG and BODS issues.
- 6Experience with data cleansing, enrichment, and deduplication techniques.
- 7Ability to execute cutover and reconciliation processes in SAP projects.
