Overview

Leads transitional work and return-to-work programs for employees with medical restrictions. Collaborates with stakeholders to evaluate work capacity and facilitate accommodations. Ensures safe compliant return-to-work outcomes. Manages documentation and supports case coordination.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Coordinate and manage transitional work and return-to-work programs for injured or disabled employees
  • 2Review medical documentation and work restrictions to determine appropriate job accommodation
  • 3Monitor employee progress and adjust return-to-work plans based on medical updates
  • 4Maintain accurate documentation of case activities and communications
  • 5Serve as liaison with employees managers HR staff healthcare providers and other stakeholders
  • 6Provide education for employees and managers on accommodation return-to-work and Workers Compensation processes
  • 7Participate in case conferences and claim review meetings as needed

Requirements9

  • 1Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Case Management or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2Working knowledge of Workers’ Compensation laws claims management and return-to-work programs
  • 3Working knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act ADA reasonable accommodations and the interactive process
  • 4Excellent communication organizational problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • 5Proficiency with MS Office
  • 6Two years of case management experience in occupational health disability management workers compensation or related setting
  • 7Experience reviewing medical records work restrictions and functional capacity information
  • 8Experience working with self-insured employers third-party administrators and Workers Compensation carriers
