
Sr. Contracts Manager, Construction & Facilities
Overview
You will own complex purchasing agreements for facilities, real estate, construction, HR, and sales operations. Negotiate terms with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance for Intuitive. Work onsite in San Jose with a cross-functional legal and procurement team. Your J.D. and 5+ years in construction contracts will drive risk mitigation and cost savings.
What You'll Do7
- 1Draft and negotiate construction and facilities services agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, and change orders.
- 2Lead contract reviews with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, procurement) to align terms with business needs.
- 3Resolve contractual disputes and claims, mitigating risk and protecting Intuitive's interests.
- 4Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to execution, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- 5Support real estate leasing and purchase transactions, coordinating with external counsel.
- 6Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks for repeatable processes.
- 7Advise on procurement strategies for services and materials across corporate functions.
Requirements6
- 1J.D. required and active bar membership.
- 25+ years experience in commercial contracts, with focus on construction and facilities agreements.
- 3Strong negotiation and drafting skills for complex, high-value contracts.
- 4Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for contract management.
- 5Ability to work onsite in San Jose, CA, with occasional travel.
- 6Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
