What You'll Do11
- 1Initiate and maintain communication with facilities to ensure accurate patient insurance receipt
- 2Enter insurance information into billing systems and verify eligibility benefits for outpatient dialysis
- 3Update Patient Registration systems and coordinate with PRCs for required documentation
- 4Partner with Insurance Management Teams to resolve incomplete registrations and review denials
- 5Determine Coordination of Benefits and maintain current patient accounts
- 6Submit internal requests for claims processing including RCUs and SPA requests
- 7Support Patient Account Representatives and ROPS teammates as needed
- 8Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information
- 9Work overtime with minimal notice and attend required meetings and training
- 10Follow team guidelines and departmental policies consistently
- 11Ensure timely completion of ancillary reports and assigned projects
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Minimum of three years healthcare reimbursement experience preferred
- 3Experience with admissions, billing, and collections preferred
- 4Demonstrated knowledge of insurance rules for federal, state, and managed care payors
- 5Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word Excel and Outlook required
