Overview
6+ years of experience building complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and interactive Tableau dashboards for business reporting and analytics. In this onsite contract role in Plano, TX, you will own the full data stack from SQL Server to visualization. You will work with a collaborative team to transform raw data into actionable insights. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement complex SQL queries against SQL Server databases to extract and transform data for reporting.
- 2Build and tune stored procedures to support high-performance data retrieval and data transformation.
- 3Develop interactive Tableau dashboards that provide actionable business insights to stakeholders.
- 4Own the data pipeline from source to dashboard, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- 5Debug and resolve issues in SQL queries, stored procedures, and Tableau workbooks.
- 6Collaborate with business analysts to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions.
- 7Document data models, query logic, and dashboard design for team reference.
- 8Optimize existing SQL and Tableau assets to improve performance and usability.
Requirements8
- 16+ years of experience as a SQL Server Developer or Tableau Developer.
- 2Strong hands-on expertise in T-SQL including complex queries, joins, and subqueries.
- 3Proven experience developing stored procedures, triggers, and functions in SQL Server.
- 4Expert-level Tableau skills including creating calculated fields, parameters, and sets.
- 5Experience with data transformations and ETL processes.
- 6Ability to attend onsite interviews and work onsite in Plano, TX.
- 7Local to Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
- 8W2 contract eligibility without sponsorship.
