Overview
You will own the full patient journey, from first assessment to ongoing treatment, at Little Scholars Services in Los Angeles. What You'll Do6
- 1Conduct initial evaluations for new patients, answer introductory questions, and identify their speech needs.
- 2Build customized treatment plans with short and long term goals for each patient, adjusting as needed based on progress.
- 3Implement treatment plans during sessions, modifying techniques to achieve successful outcomes.
- 4Maintain accurate charts of patient care, including evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
- 5Collaborate with families to provide them with the knowledge and tools to support patient progress at home.
- 6Use Microsoft Office to document all patient interactions and manage scheduling.
Requirements5
- 1Active state license for speech therapy as an SLPA.
- 2Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions.
- 3Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases and documentation.
- 4Charting and documentation proficiency to maintain precise records.
- 5Familiarity with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite.
