What You'll Do8
- 1Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs using CCC-SLP standards
- 2Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals under LARA license
- 3Deliver direct speech and language therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
- 4Complete assessments, progress reports, and documentation to maintain compliance with IDEA
- 5Lead IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions with educators and families
- 6Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support classroom participation
- 7Implement intervention strategies targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- 8Monitor student progress and adjust plans to meet Michigan school-based requirements
Requirements7
- 1Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- 2Valid Michigan SLP license through LARA or eligibility to obtain licensure
- 3Completion of Michigan SLP licensure exam and clinical experience
- 4Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred; Clinical Fellows considered with supervision
- 5Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based service delivery
- 6Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- 7Successful completion of background screening and district onboarding
