Overview
The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to lead speech therapy services. What You'll Do14
- 1Provide Speech Therapy services to patients and initiate referrals per department protocols
- 2Conduct regular patient screenings to identify therapy needs
- 3Evaluate patients to gather data for treatment planning
- 4Perform specialized evaluations as needed
- 5Interpret evaluation findings and communicate results to patients families and team members
- 6Develop individualized treatment plans with short and long term goals
- 7Coordinate treatment plans with patients families and healthcare providers
- 8Monitor patient progress and modify interventions according to physician orders
- 9Recommend assistive communication devices and instruct users
- 10Participate in discharge planning and develop home/community programs
- 11Document assessments treatments and outcomes following department procedures
- 12Supervise students and volunteers while maintaining regulatory compliance
- 13Maintain continuing education and professional development
- 14Record therapy times and submit statistical reports to regional offices
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- 3Current state license or license eligible
- 4Good communication skills across all modalities
- 5Teamwork orientation aligned with organizational values
- 6Proven ability to meet productivity standards
- 7Compliance with infection control universal precautions and OSHA guidelines
