Overview
Owns direct speech and language services to students in a two-school campus in Chandler AZ. Supports SLP with screenings, data collection, and treatment following IEPs and written plans. Works onsite with elementary and secondary students, collaborating with teachers and families. This role emphasizes clinical/educational service delivery within a charter school setting and offers professional development and tuition support.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and perform screenings for students using approved protocols
- 2Assist with direct treatment per the supervising SLPs written plans
- 3Collect and tally data for assessment purposes
- 4Provide intervention strategies to staff for carry over of goals
- 5Document daily activities and student progress
- 6Attend parent conferences and IEP meetings with input from the supervising SLP
- 7Support teachers and staff through consultation and collaboration
- 8Conform to safety practices and maintain student data integrity
Requirements5
- 1Associates Degree required
- 2Preferred Bachelor’s Degree
- 3Certified training program for Speech Language Pathology Assistant
- 4Valid Speech Language Pathology Assistant license from the Arizona Department of Health Services
- 5Proficient in the use of technology
