You will craft and serve high-quality, maman standard beverages in a French bakery and café known for its famous nutty chocolate chip cookie and lifestyle brand presence. You will own the barista station, ensuring every drink meets recipe standards, and deliver warm, personalized hospitality that builds regulars. You will join a collaborative FOH team across a bustling Crystal City location, working with espresso and milk texturing to serve drinks within 8 minutes on weekdays and 10 minutes on weekends. What You'll Do10

• 1Prepare and serve the full beverage menu using espresso and milk texturing techniques, following maman's recipes exactly.
• 2Consistently craft drinks with proper presentation, maintaining quality and speed during peak service.
• 3Deliver warm, personalized service using the Smile, Engage, Name, Thank You steps, and build rapport with regular guests.
• 4Communicate menu offerings, including ingredients and allergy information, to help guests make informed choices.
• 5Maintain an organized bar workflow to hit service time targets, coordinating with front-of-house team members.
• 6Follow DOH standards for cleanliness, including proper care of steam wands, grinders, and pitchers, and complete opening and closing tasks.
• 7Support daily, weekly, and monthly deep-cleaning tasks, and report any safety hazards or equipment issues.
• 8Cross-train in other FOH positions such as counter service, runner, or server as business needs require.
• 9Operate the POS system accurately, reading tickets for modifiers and dine-in versus to-go orders.
• 10Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service, addressing concerns professionally and escalating to leadership when necessary.
