What You'll Do10
- 1Build individualized transition and life skills plans within inclusion SUCCESS CBT and STRIVE classrooms
- 2Design and deliver instruction that progresses functional academics and functional living skills
- 3Lead collaboration with colleagues to create and adjust IEPs and related documentation
- 4Ship timely accurate student records and participate in required meetings
- 5Drive ongoing communication with parents staff and external providers to support student growth
- 6Own behavior support plans and data collection for students with emotional disabilities autism or self regulation challenges
- 7Scale instructional strategies to multiple campuses while maintaining fidelity to district guidelines
- 8Debug instructional adaptations to meet diverse learner needs
- 9Provide ongoing assessment and adapt interventions based on student progress
- 10Coordinate with support staff to ensure smooth implementation of programs across campuses
Requirements8
- 1Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
- 2Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
- 3IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- 4Prior experience with students with emotional disabilities autism and self regulation challenges
- 5Understanding of at risk bilingual (limited English proficiency) and ethnically diverse student populations
- 6Knowledge of federal state and district special education guidelines
- 7Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and related documentation
- 8Previous training in Essential Elements of Effective Instruction EEII or willingness to complete staff development
