What You'll Do9
- 1Evaluate infants and toddlers Birth-3 years for Part C/Special Education eligibility
- 2Design and implement one-hour group activities tailored to early childhood needs
- 3Conduct weekly home visits to support family engagement and service delivery
- 4Coordinate IEPT/IFSP meetings with educators and specialists
- 5Facilitate smooth transitions for students exiting the program
- 6Administer comprehensive evaluations including entry and exit assessments
- 7Maintain accurate documentation and submit data within mandated timelines
- 8Collaborate with ancillary staff to ensure holistic student support
- 9Develop and deliver parent workshops on early childhood development strategies
Requirements10
- 1Early Childhood Special Education (ZS) endorsement or equivalent certification
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with relevant coursework
- 3Knowledge of child development milestones and evidence-based parenting techniques
- 4Familiarity with state and federal special education laws and guidelines
- 5Proficiency with early childhood assessment tools
- 6Experience interpreting assessment results and communicating findings
- 7Strong communication skills for effective parent-teacher partnerships
