What You'll Do11

  • 1Develop sourcing strategies for complex high-value materials equipment and services across regional and enterprise initiatives
  • 2Execute strategies by issuing RFQs/RFPs analyzing supplier responses and recommending awards
  • 3Negotiate with supplier and manufacturer leadership applying contractual terms driving cost avoidance and savings
  • 4Support change management with cross-functional teams implementing sourcing strategies
  • 5Manage strategic supplier relationships interfacing with internal partners and external suppliers
  • 6Oversee post-award activities including settlements claims disputes and purchase order management
  • 7Maintain subject matter expertise on commodities market conditions supply sources and diversity opportunities
  • 8Provide mentorship and cross-training to sourcing personnel
  • 9Support project managers with strategic sourcing for equipment bid events and PO contracts
  • 10Manage Alliance Agreements Master Service Agreements and category management efforts
  • 11Travel as needed including overnight trips with reimbursed expenses

Requirements5

  • 15+ years of supply chain experience with proven track record in sourcing and negotiating complex high-value categories
  • 2EPC experience highly preferred
  • 3Background sourcing labor services materials and engineered equipment for power plants preferred
  • 4Certified Purchasing Manager or Certified Professional in Supply Management preferred
  • 5Bachelor's degree required
