Solutions Engineer, POS & Azure Integrations
Overview
As a Solutions Engineer at Ziosk, you will own the technical design and deployment of Ziosk solutions for new restaurant customers, transforming the guest experience through innovative pay-at-the-table technology. You will partner with flagship clients like Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, and Chili's to assess requirements, build tailored integration plans, and ensure seamless rollouts. Your work will directly shape the success of our deployments, bridging customers and the software development team to deliver high-impact results. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge Azure cloud infrastructure and POS systems, all while being part of a team that values independence and collaboration.
What You'll Do7
- 1Partner with new restaurant customers to gather technical requirements for POS systems, payment processors, and related technologies.
- 2Build customized installation playbooks that guide smooth Ziosk deployments from kickoff to completion.
- 3Serve as the technical liaison between customers and the Ziosk software team, aligning deployment needs with product capabilities.
- 4Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during on-site deployments, minimizing disruption for restaurant operations.
- 5Document best practices, deployment procedures, and lessons learned to continuously improve future rollouts.
- 6Provide post-deployment support to help customers extract maximum value from Ziosk solutions, including Azure cloud services.
- 7Stay current on Ziosk technologies, including Azure infrastructure, POS integrations, and payment processor solutions.
Requirements6
- 15+ years of experience in IT operations or solution engineering, with a focus on customer-facing technical delivery.
- 2Proven success in customer-facing roles, ideally within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- 3Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to decompose complex technical problems into actionable solutions.
- 4Excellent communication skills, with experience bridging customers and internal technical teams.
- 5Self-motivated and capable of taking ownership of projects, driving results with minimal supervision.
- 6Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and commute daily to Plano, TX.
