Overview
Own the data and intelligence architecture for AgentExchange at Salesforce. Build a unified analytics destination replacing fragmented pipelines. Define contracts and architect LLM- and agent-native layers for intelligent partner experiences.
What You'll Do12
- 1Design and build end-to-end data architecture including canonical model and destination consolidation
- 2Establish streaming and batch pipelines with schema governance and reliability SLOs
- 3Create self-service analytics dashboards using Data 360 and Tableau Next
- 4Develop ML platform featuring feature store and evaluation infrastructure
- 5Architect MCP-based agentic data layer with guardrails for safe agent access
- 6Lead data security and governance ensuring PII handling and compliance
- 7Mentor senior engineers and sponsor Lead Scoring Model improvements
- 8Drive large-scale migration of pipelines with zero disruption
- 9Represent data architecture in cross-organization VAT and architecture reviews
- 10Define and enforce data contracts across engineering teams
- 11Own partner console, GMV/attrition dashboards, and effort-score measurement systems
- 12Collaborate with Platform Services and Partner Experience teams on shared standards
Requirements12
- 110+ years in software or data engineering with enterprise-scale platform ownership
- 2Deep architecture experience in lakehouse/warehouse design, streaming/batch pipelines, feature stores, and model serving
- 3Cloud-native data infrastructure expertise with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks
- 4Production experience with LLM systems including RAG, embeddings, and vector stores
- 5Working knowledge of MCP or equivalent agent protocols with security considerations
- 6Data security and governance expertise covering PII classification and GDPR/CCPA compliance
- 7Track record representing technical domains in cross-org architecture forums
- 8Executive communication ability to defend architecture to CTOs and PMs
- 9Related technical degree required
- 10Preferred Salesforce Data 360, Tableau Next, Slack, or MuleSoft integration experience
- 11Marketplace/e-commerce data specialization including GMV and attrition modeling
- 12Large-scale Heroku cloud migrations with zero production disruption
