Software Engineer - TS/SCI - CACI Detroit
Overview
You will own the development of algorithms and software for synthetic aperture radar, electro-optical, and other remote sensing systems at CACI. You will convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust applications, collaborating with radar and EO experts to improve image quality. Your work will span the full development lifecycle, from planning to deployment. This role stands out because you will learn from the experts who patented these capabilities.
What You'll Do7
- 1Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications for SAR and EO systems.
- 2Collaborate with radar and electro-optical scientists to solve complex issues and iterate on product image quality.
- 3Design, develop, and maintain scalable software using Python, C++, or Rust in Linux and AWS environments.
- 4Write clean, well-tested code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- 5Participate in the full development lifecycle, including planning, requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- 6Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
- 7Learn about remote sensing technologies and collection techniques from leading experts.
Requirements8
- 1Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- 2Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or related field, or 4 years of professional experience in software or signals processing, or military background in electronic warfare.
- 37+ years of related software engineering experience.
- 4Proven experience with Python, C++, Rust, or similar programming languages.
- 5Familiarity developing in Linux and/or cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- 6Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- 7Ability to work within a team and independently on large software packages.
- 8Ability to work onsite in Detroit, MI.
Salary Insight
$103 - $217k per year
