Software Engineer QA Senior, TS/SCI Poly & DoD 8140.03 IAT II
Overview
Software engineers join a mission critical program at scale across multiple teams. They will own design, development, and quality assurance for complex systems with Azure DevOps and web based testing. You’ll work with a cross functional team including software engineers, testers, and program managers. This role is distinguishable by the required security clearance and DoD standards.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain automated QA tests to support secure software releases
- 2Design, implement, and review test plans and test cases for web based applications
- 3Lead integration and system testing across developer, staging, and production environments
- 4Ship code and configurations through Azure DevOps Server and release management processes
- 5Drive test automation strategy to improve coverage and reliability within 90 days
- 6Own failure investigations and root cause analysis for mission critical systems
- 7Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD 8140.03 IAT II standards
- 8Scale testing activities to support eight+ year development programs
- 9Mentor junior engineers on QA practices and secure software development
- 10Document test results and quality metrics for program leadership and auditors
Requirements10
- 1Eight years of experience in software design, writing source code, control of source code, reviewing code, configuration management, change management, program testing, integration of software, and release management process
- 2Five years of experience in software development and software quality assurance
- 3Five years of experience writing code to automated QA & QC tests
- 4Five years of experience with Web Based Testing Applications
- 5Five years of experience with Agile Development Process
- 6Five years of experience performing manual and automated testing
- 7Three years of experience working with Azure DEVOPS Server
- 8DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II /Intermediate certification
- 9TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI TK G HCS and NATO Secret clearance
- 10Master's degree in software design engineering or computer science with 8 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience
