Overview
As SOC Operator at Securitas, you will own the Security Operations Center monitoring for a Moorestown, NJ site, watching CCTV, alarms, and access control systems to identify risks and escalate incidents. You join a team of security professionals led by site leadership, coordinating responses through designated personnel. What You'll Do9
- 1Monitor CCTV feeds, alarm systems, and access control platforms to detect unusual activity or security breaches.
- 2Acquire and interpret CCTV and system data, determining next steps for notifications, escalation, or documentation.
- 3Draft clear written reports and deliver verbal notifications to stakeholders within minutes of a security event.
- 4Operate GSOC tools and monitoring platforms to manage daily security alerts and track incidents.
- 5Conduct system checks on all monitoring equipment to verify proper functionality each shift.
- 6Flag and escalate suspicious activity or operational concerns to site leadership with supporting evidence.
- 7Support investigations by pulling and reviewing video footage, compiling evidence for case files.
- 8Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and security procedures.
- 9Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence at the workstation.
Requirements9
- 118+ years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
- 2Prior leadership experience or documented training demonstrating advanced situational awareness.
- 3Experience responding to risks, unusual activity, and alarm events.
- 4Relevant experience with technology-based security systems (GSOC, SOC, or similar environments).
- 5CCTV experience with a clear understanding of analyzing, reporting, and escalation procedures.
- 6Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and notifications.
- 7Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- 8Ability to prepare and distribute daily weather reports affecting employee movement and site operations.
- 9Active NJ SORA license or ability to obtain one, plus a valid driver's license and open availability.
