Silicon Validation Engineer, Hardware & Lab Operations
Overview
You will own lab infrastructure and validation environments for silicon testing at scale. This role combines hands-on hardware bring-up with automation and system administration. You'll manage servers, test benches, and network connectivity, supporting daily operations and resolving issues. You'll also develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks, making validation faster and more reliable.
What You'll Do6
- 1Manage lab servers, test benches, and associated hardware infrastructure, ensuring uptime and performance.
- 2Perform system provisioning, installation, configuration, and upgrades for lab equipment and software.
- 3Support hardware bring-up, firmware flashing, and network connectivity for validation setups.
- 4Monitor lab health and proactively resolve system or network issues.
- 5Maintain lab inventory and manage access control for team members.
- 6Develop automation scripts using Python to streamline lab operations and data collection.
Requirements6
- 13+ years in hardware validation or lab infrastructure management.
- 2Hands-on experience with server hardware, test benches, and networking.
- 3Proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting.
- 4Familiarity with hardware bring-up, firmware flashing, and debug tools.
- 5Strong problem-solving skills for system and network troubleshooting.
- 6Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
