Shipping Lead, PCBA Logistics & Carrier Coordination
Overview
Own daily shipping operations for PCBA products at Amtec Contract in Los Angeles. Oversee accurate, on-time domestic and international shipments using UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers. Coordinate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain inventory accuracy. This role demands strong ERP skills and customer-focused problem-solving. You will also train staff and improve shipping processes to drive efficiency.
What You'll Do8
- 1Review customer routing guides and shipping instructions to meet specifications for each PCBA order.
- 2Process domestic and international shipments via UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers, ensuring on-time delivery.
- 3Verify shipping notices, bills of lading, packing slips, and invoices for accuracy.
- 4Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries, track shipments, and resolve issues.
- 5Use ERP systems to verify inventory transactions and pull product from production against customer orders.
- 6Maintain precise shipping and inventory records for semi-finished and finished goods.
- 7Assist with training and process improvements to reduce shipping discrepancies.
- 8Support inventory control for PCBA products to ensure stock accuracy.
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred.
- 23+ years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or inventory control experience in manufacturing.
- 3Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, or PCBA environments preferred.
- 4Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and carrier systems, including UPS and FedEx.
- 5Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe.
- 6Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- 7Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer and carrier interaction.
