Shift Supervisor, Milkshake & Dessert Shop
Overview
You will own the floor at MilkShake Factory's new Preston Valley location, leading shifts from open to close and setting the standard for shake and chocolate craft. You'll coach a small team, drive sales through sampling and upselling, and handle customer concerns with calm. This role offers a clear path to Assistant General Manager and a chance to build from the ground up. You'll work in a family-owned, no-fryer environment where the focus is quality desserts and genuine hospitality.
What You'll Do7
- 1Own your shift: open and close the store, direct the team, and manage floor flow.
- 2Train, coach, and give real-time feedback to team members on service and product quality.
- 3Drive sales through sampling, upselling, and genuine enthusiasm for the product.
- 4Craft high-quality shakes, sundaes, and dipped chocolates to standard every time.
- 5Handle customer concerns with calm and professionalism, resolving issues on the spot.
- 6Manage cash, food safety, and store organization with accuracy and care.
- 7Keep the manager informed on team performance and any issues that need attention.
Requirements6
- 1Previous customer service experience required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- 2Ability to adjust team deployment based on store traffic and customer flow.
- 3Strong communication skills and composure under pressure.
- 4Cash-handling experience and attention to detail.
- 5Flexible availability including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- 6HS diploma or GED; able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
