Overview

What You'll Do8
- 1Maintain and perform housekeeping of general shop including sweeping and shoveling sand
- 2Shake out molds and knock out cores while assisting molders with poured molds
- 3Service the entire green sand molding line and move castings to the grinding area
- 4Use hand tools such as hammers cold chisels and files to complete tasks
- 5Report production quantities and items for each work order
- 6Ensure safe and clean working environment by following procedures and conserving resources
- 7Contribute to team efforts by training others in machine operator tasks
- 8Document actions by completing production and quality forms
Requirements6
- 1High School diploma GED or combination of work experience required
- 26+ months manufacturing experience preferred with foundry background
- 3Ability to safely operate small hand and power tools
- 4Strong English reading and communication skills
- 5Experience with machinery and ability to follow verbal written instructions
- 6Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently
