ServiceNow IT Asset Management Engineer - Houston TX
Overview
We seek a technical leader to own ITAM on ServiceNow platform. This role drives asset management at 325+ locations. You will design scalable solutions aligning with CSDM architecture. The position offers unique exposure to enterprise data strategy and cross-functional leadership.
What You'll Do11
- 1Serve as technical owner for HAM Pro/SAM Pro within ServiceNow platform
- 2Design and evolve ITAM capabilities following CSDM architecture
- 3Align ITAM with CMDB Discovery and Service Graph for single source of truth
- 4Translate business needs into automated asset lifecycle workflows
- 5Lead asset processes from procurement to disposal ensuring compliance
- 6Establish governance controls and drive continuous platform improvement
- 7Develop KPIs and dashboards for asset performance and risk exposure
- 8Partner with security teams to enhance asset visibility and compliance
- 9Identify software license risks and optimize costs across enterprise
- 10Contribute to ServiceNow modernization program for ITAM
- 11Support enterprise data strategy across 325 retail locations
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ITAM solutions with ServiceNow HAM Pro SAM Pro
- 2Concrete experience with CMDB Discovery Service Graph CSDM concepts
- 3Strong understanding of asset lifecycle governance compliance auditing
- 4Ability to define and enforce normalization rules across asset classes
- 5Proven track record in automation and workflow design
- 6Experience supporting retail multi-site environments
- 7Education: Bachelor's in IT Engineering or related field
- 8ServiceNow certifications: CIS-HAM CIS-SAM CIS-ITOM CSA preferred
- 9Physical requirements: acceptable hearing and vision
- 10Regular office attendance mandatory in Houston Texas
