IT Asset Management Manager
Overview
Own the enterprise ITAM program at Point32Health, a not-for-profit health plan serving nearly 2 million members. Define strategy, governance, and operational capabilities for software and hardware asset lifecycle management. Partner with procurement, finance, legal, security, and IT teams to optimize technology investments and ensure audit readiness. What You'll Do9
- 1Define and drive the ITAM strategy, policy, roadmap, and governance aligned with business, financial, and compliance goals.
- 2Lead and develop the ITAM team, prioritizing work, coaching, and talent planning to support operational effectiveness.
- 3Build and refine asset management policies, standards, and controls to strengthen accountability and data integrity.
- 4Manage software asset lifecycle end-to-end: acquisitions, entitlements, renewals, compliance, and optimization with ServiceNow SAM/HAM and Snow Software.
- 5Oversee hardware lifecycle: inventory tracking, CMDB accuracy, refresh planning, and disposal in coordination with infrastructure and desktop support.
- 6Maintain accurate software and hardware records, including contracts, billing, and license entitlements to support audits.
- 7Monitor license utilization and hardware trends, then recommend adjustments to cut costs and reduce risk.
- 8Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve licensing issues, validate entitlements, and ensure contractual compliance.
- 9Lead audits, compliance reviews, and remediation, plus drive automation and process improvements in ITAM.
Requirements10
- 15-7 years in IT Asset Management, including software licensing, compliance, and audit support.
- 2Experience managing asset lifecycles: procurement, deployment, recovery, and retirement.
- 3Track record partnering with procurement, finance, legal, and IT operations.
- 4Deep knowledge of ITAM frameworks and SAM best practices.
- 5Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM/HAM, Snow Software, or similar platforms.
- 6Strong understanding of enterprise software licensing models and vendor compliance.
- 7Working knowledge of hardware inventory tools like Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager or Intune.
- 8Analytical ability to use metrics and data to drive decisions and cost optimization.
- 9Strong leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
- 10Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field; CSAM or CITAM certification is a plus.
