Overview
Own the ServiceNow architecture roadmap for a global consulting client, driving CMDB and ITOM strategy across 10-12 years of enterprise deployments. You'll lead design of scalable solutions spanning Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, and ITOM, while establishing governance frameworks that ensure data integrity. This onsite contract role in Philadelphia demands hands-on architectural leadership from day one, shaping the platform's future for a Fortune 500 environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Define the ServiceNow architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise objectives, prioritizing CMDB and ITOM maturity.
- 2Design scalable solutions for Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, and ITOM, integrating with existing enterprise systems.
- 3Establish CMDB governance frameworks, including data ownership, reconciliation, and health metrics, to drive accuracy.
- 4Lead implementation of CSDM models across service, application, and infrastructure domains, ensuring consistency.
- 5Drive technical discovery patterns for cloud and on-premise assets, leveraging MID Server and Discovery features.
- 6Collaborate with service owners to map service dependencies and configuration items, enabling impact analysis.
- 7Mentor junior architects on ServiceNow best practices and ITIL alignment.
Requirements6
- 110-12 years architecting enterprise ServiceNow solutions with focus on ITOM.
- 2Expert-level CMDB design, including CSDM and Discovery patterns.
- 3Proven leadership in building CMDB governance and data quality frameworks.
- 4Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform, including Scripting, REST APIs, and Integration Hub.
- 5Strong grasp of ITIL processes and ITSM modules, with ITIL v4 certification preferred.
- 6Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery for cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-prem infrastructure.
