Overview
Senior Apartment Community Service Coordinator in Columbus Ohio part time 20 hours per week. This is a unique opportunity to advance better living and care for seniors working with National Church Residences.
What You'll Do11
- 1Demonstrate ability to advocate organize problem-solve and provide results for residents
- 2Coordinate programs and activities for residents
- 3Serve as liaison to community agencies and network with service providers
- 4Identify low-cost service providers and negotiate discounts
- 5Engage residents to identify needs and make referrals
- 6Develop resource directory listing state and local service providers
- 7Sponsor educational events on healthcare agency support and referral sources
- 8Provide quality customer service address concerns and assist with basic needs
- 9Assist residents in acquiring community services such as housekeeping meals transportation personal services financial assistance day care counseling
- 10Monitor document and relay resident and family feedback
- 11Manage internal and external relationships using appropriate communication skills
Requirements4
- 1Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred
- 2Two or more years experience delivering social services to elderly or family populations
- 3Working knowledge of supportive services and local community resources
- 4Demonstrated ability to advocate organize problem-solve and deliver measurable results
