What You'll Do11
- 1Coordinate and execute test campaigns including propulsion hot fires structural vibration thermal testing
- 2Operate and monitor test stand systems propulsion hardware and instrumentation
- 3Lead execution of test procedures ensure compliance with engineering requirements and safety standards
- 4Author review and refine detailed test procedures analyze test data for accuracy and performance
- 5Collaborate with technicians troubleshoot instrumentation issues improve reliability
- 6Support setup upgrades maintenance and breakdown of test stands
- 7Act as liaison between test propulsion manufacturing and technician teams
- 8Mentor operations team in fluid flow data acquisition procedural development safety practices and operational excellence
- 9Document processes enhance and standardize Test Operator Standard Operating Procedures focusing on training and onboarding
- 10Lead and execute specialized projects independently ensuring progress without impacting team capacity

Requirements13
- 1At least 5 years experience in hardware testing environment
- 2Hands-on knowledge of valves pneumatic actuators solenoids limit switches relief valves pressure transducers thermocouples pressure vessels GUIs HMIs and data acquisition systems
- 3Strong problem solving skills organizational abilities and attention to detail
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software
- 5Clear communication skills over comms devices while operating consoles
- 6Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- 7Comfortable working outdoors lifting up to 25 lbs
- 8Experience with pressurized gases and liquids up to 6000psia
- 9Experience with NI hardware PXIe cRIO cDAQ
- 10Experience designing and commissioning new test facilities
- 11Experience with GIT repositories and/or JSON file types
- 12Experience in aerospace test environment
- 13Location on-site in Houston TX
