What You'll Do10

  • 1Develop and refine NGA's strategic engagement plan, defining priorities, milestones, and performance metrics.
  • 2Conduct independent analysis and stakeholder mapping to guide decision-making and 360-degree assessments.
  • 3Synchronize messaging across internal and external stakeholders to maintain consistency and clarity.
  • 4Create detailed campaign plans with schedules, measurable outcomes, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • 5Lead red-team engagements to stress-test strategic concepts and refine approaches.
  • 6Prepare senior leaders for congressional testimony and high-visibility engagements with briefing materials and mock Q&A.
  • 7Deliver executive summaries and tailored rehearsal storyboards, responding within four hours to critical requests.
  • 8Support adoption of new systems and tools, implementing quarterly strategic planning cycles with a Collect–Assess–Refine methodology.
  • 9Build and maintain relationships with congressional staff, oversight committees, and interagency partners.
  • 10Anticipate and address politically sensitive issues impacting NGA's mission.

Requirements10

  • 17+ years advising senior military or civilian leaders in joint environments, such as Combatant Commands.
  • 2Proven track record supporting high-profile IC programs and congressional engagement.
  • 3Expert-level proficiency in drafting and tailoring materials for senior U.S. Government officials.
  • 4Compliance with all NGA, DoD, and IC security directives.
  • 5Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to undergo Counterintelligence Polygraph.
  • 6Exceptional communication and briefing skills; ability to convey complex topics clearly.
  • 7Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • 8Ability to perform under pressure in politically sensitive environments.
  • 9Familiarity with NGA mission and GEOINT operations preferred.
  • 10Experience in media relations and crisis communication preferred.
