GDIT seeks a Senior Storage Engineer to lead storage initiatives within the NIH CIT Hosting and Storage Services Program. The ideal candidate drives innovation by exploring emerging technologies to enhance human expertise while maintaining a hybrid schedule of three days on-site in Bethesda MD. This role requires obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust through comprehensive background reviews.

- 1Support SAN/NAS storage and backup environments
- 2Manage storage provisioning backups and recovery
- 3Perform storage troubleshooting and capacity tracking
- 4Update storage documentation and baselines
- 5Implement data replication synchronization and backup restore processes across hybrid cloud environments
- 6Provide guidance and training on storage best practices recovery and DR procedures
Requirements7
- 1BS/BA or equivalent with 6 years supporting SAN/NAS storage and backup environments
- 2Proven experience with provisioning replication and performance checks
- 3Expertise in storage documentation and SOP development
- 4Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
- 5AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred
- 6Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud replication synchronization and backup restore processes
- 7Excellent problem solving abilities and communication skills
