ScentAir Technologies LLC seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant in Charlotte, NC. This role offers hands-on experience across multiple accounting disciplines within a dynamic global organization.
What You'll Do11
- 1Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations and supporting schedules
- 2Record journal entries and ensure accurate transaction recording according to policies
- 3Participate in monthly quarterly and year-end close processes
- 4Apply customer cash receipts and maintain accurate customer account balances
- 5Monitor and resolve unapplied cash and customer credits
- 6Maintain accounting records for prepaids fixed assets leases and accruals
- 7Assist with intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries across global entities
- 8Support monthly financial reporting and analysis
- 9Investigate and resolve account variances and reconciliation discrepancies
- 10Assist with annual financial statement audit and compliance requirements
- 11Support process improvement initiatives and automation efforts
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 22–4 years of progressive accounting experience preferably in corporate environment
- 3Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
- 4Experience with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
- 5Experience with ERP systems Syteline preferred
- 6Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables VLOOKUP XLOOKUP and data analysis
- 7Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
- 8Attention to detail commitment to accuracy
- 9Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
- 10Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 11CPA candidate or interest in pursuing CPA is a plus
