Senior Software Engineer, eSIM SaaS & AWS
Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer at RiPSIM, you will own the design and delivery of our eSIM SaaS platform hosted in AWS, serving wireless providers and enterprise networks. You will work with a stack built on .NET C#, C++, RabbitMQ, and Entity Framework with PostgreSQL and SQLite, alongside a cross-functional team of wireless industry veterans. This role stands out because you will build core eSIM authentication solutions that disrupt a 30-year-old industry, in a welcoming and entrepreneurial environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Design, develop, test, and maintain SaaS applications for eSIM solutions, using .NET C# and C++ backends.
- 2Integrate front-end components with back-end .NET microservices through JSON and RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
- 3Implement and integrate .NET C# microservices and C++ services within the application ecosystem.
- 4Utilize RabbitMQ for messaging and event-driven architecture to decouple services.
- 5Implement and maintain data persistence using Entity Framework with PostgreSQL and SQLite databases.
- 6Ensure applications are hosted and optimized in the AWS Cloud, leveraging containerization with Docker.
- 7Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ship new features from concept to deployment.
- 8Perform code reviews, debug, and troubleshoot to maintain code quality and performance.
- 9Optimize back-end performance and implement best practices for scalability and maintainability.
- 10Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge of AWS, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
Requirements10
- 1Must be a U.S. Citizen and reside in the US.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 35+ years as a backend or full-stack software engineer with focus on SaaS application development.
- 4Hands-on experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful microservices to integrate frontend and backend systems.
- 5Extensive experience with modern .NET C# backend development.
- 6Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices for maintainable and scalable code.
- 7Proficiency with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
- 8Experience with cloud technologies and services, specifically AWS or Azure.
- 9Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- 10Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
