Overview

Lead the coordination planning development and implementation of all Clinical Simulation Center teaching and assessment events. Serve as primary liaison supporting faculty staff and students with simulation needs and assist with daily operations. Ensure high-fidelity human patient simulated learning and manage simulation equipment software materials while maintaining excellence from start to finish.

What You'll Do17

  • 1Develops plans evaluates and implements goals objectives policies and procedures for the Simulation Center
  • 2Coordinates with counterparts to ensure consistency across all BCM simulation locations
  • 3Serves as liaison to faculty or clients recommending appropriate simulation modalities to meet learning objectives
  • 4Plans implements and monitors simulation program activities
  • 5Assists with hiring and onboarding simulation confederates provides on-site supervision and support
  • 6Provides advice and orientation to faculty regarding Simulation Center procedures and equipment use
  • 7Advises instructors and learners throughout events to ensure successful learning outcomes
  • 8Provides learner orientations feedback and group debriefing sessions
  • 9Assists CSC Managers and Directors with data collection reporting and analysis
  • 10Collaborates on design implementation and maintenance of quality improvement metrics dashboards
  • 11Assesses CSC needs and recommends annual Simulation Center budget
  • 12Plans leads and participates in special projects and events
  • 13Maintains supply inventories creates supply orders for clinical skills supplies
  • 14Oversees lab usage sign-out of equipment and transportation of simulation equipment
  • 15Operates complex simulation equipment during events
  • 16Manages event scheduling learner enrollment and assessment data collection
  • 17Assists in management maintenance and operation of simulation facility

Requirements7

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 24 years relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement
  • 3Master's degree preferred
  • 4CHSOS certification (Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist)
  • 5Bachelor degree in Business Administration Health Administration or related field
  • 6Four years relevant experience
  • 7Experience with clinical skills labs simulation labs or healthcare environment
