What You'll Do7
- 1Develop improved molecular electrocatalysts to improve power efficiency and energy density of Voya’s metal-air fuel cells
- 2Identify structure-property relationships determine mechanism of action and failure translate into improved catalyst designs
- 3Work with external vendors to source novel ligands and complexes for screening and scale-up
- 4Scope custom syntheses evaluate feasibility and cost
- 5Partner with product development team to scale technology from lab to pilot and production-intent systems
- 6Own catalyst R&D initiatives and drive iterative improvements within 90 days
- 7Maintain rigorous documentation of experimental processes and results
Requirements5
- 1Track record of designing and synthesizing molecular functional materials such as coordination complexes or organic redox-active compounds
- 2Experience with electrochemical systems including fuel cells flow batteries or electrolyzers
- 3Proven ability to identify structure-property relationships and translate findings into practical applications
