- 1Develop improved molecular electrocatalysts to boost power efficiency and energy density of Voya’s metal-air fuel cells
- 2Identify structure-property relationships determine mechanisms and translate into optimized catalyst designs
- 3Source novel ligands and complexes through vendor partnerships for screening and scale-up
- 4Manage custom syntheses evaluate feasibility and cost
- 5Partner with product development teams to scale technologies across laboratory pilot and production-intent systems
- 6Drive optimization of electrochemical systems including fuel cells flow batteries electrolyzers
Requirements5
- 1Track record designing and synthesizing molecular functional materials such as coordination complexes organic redox-active compounds molecular catalysts dyes/chromophores soluble sensors or flow-battery active materials
- 2Experience with electrochemical systems like fuel cells flow batteries electrolyzers preferred
- 3Results-oriented mindset with strong urgency
- 45+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 5Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field
Salary Insight
$160 - $180k per year
