Overview

You will drive the identification, assessment, and resolution of safety issues across Disneyland Resort's diverse businesses. Reporting to a Safety Manager, you will lead incident investigations, implement safety initiatives, and analyze injury trends to improve performance. You will work with teams at all levels, applying 5+ years of project management in occupational safety. This role focuses on data-driven strategies and collaboration to ensure safety standards.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Drive implementation of safety initiatives, performing job task analysis and identifying opportunities to improve safety performance.
  • 2Lead incident investigations and follow-ups, analyzing root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • 3Assess risks and support standardized safety practices, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • 4Ensure implementation of applicable safety standards, including OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulations.
  • 5Manage relationships within a matrix environment, collaborating with leadership and employees to drive consistency.
  • 6Participate in industrial hygiene monitoring and ergonomic assessments to mitigate workplace hazards.
  • 7Deploy analytics and trends to improve safety outcomes across the resort.
  • 8Review source material such as rules, codes, laws, and standards to identify and share industry best practices.

Requirements7

  • 15+ years of project management experience in occupational safety, risk management, or related environment.
  • 2Knowledge of relevant industry standards, including OSHA and Cal/OSHA.
  • 3Demonstrated strategic thinking, prioritization, and task initiation skills.
  • 4Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present to all levels.
  • 5Proven ability to resolve conflicts and diffuse difficult situations.
  • 6ASP or CSP designation preferred.
  • 7Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Occupational Health, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
