Senior Project Manager, Digital Services & Nuclear Engineering
Overview
Own end-to-end delivery of medium to high complexity projects for Westinghouse's Digital Services, including plant engineering support functions such as Component and System Engineering, License Renewal, and Condition Monitoring. You will direct cross-functional teams of 5-20 members, manage SAP, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project baselines, and integrate AI technologies to drive quality outcomes. Reporting to the Manager of Projects, Digital Technology, you will lead stakeholder communications, contract changes, and financial forecasts. What You'll Do8
- 1Lead end-to-end project management for medium to high complexity projects, including proposal support, directing cross-functional teams of 5-20 members.
- 2Build project performance baselines (scope, schedule, cost) using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, and maintain risk and stakeholder registers per WPMR.
- 3Coordinate resources, procurement, quality, and communications across project functions, acquiring team members through department protocols.
- 4Drive customer and stakeholder communications, negotiating changes and ensuring transparent status reporting to the team, customer, and leadership.
- 5Interpret contract requirements and manage scope changes through an integrated change control process, developing deliverables that strengthen customer relationships and support profitability.
- 6Maintain accurate project documentation in SAP, SharePoint, and Active Risk Manager, ensuring compliance and efficient correspondence.
- 7Forecast spend, monitor project performance, close projects in required systems, and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- 8Mentor other project managers in critical project management requirements, sharing best practices and recovery actions.
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline.
- 26+ years of project management experience leading and directing small or medium complexity projects to successful completion.
- 38 years in technical/engineering role and 2 years as project manager may be considered equivalent.
- 4Westinghouse Project Manager qualification completed, or PMP certification, or meet eligibility requirements.
- 5Familiarity with the Project Management Institute (PMI)'s Project Management Body of Knowledge.
- 6Demonstrated ability to transform data into information for reporting.
- 7Experience with SAP, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint, and Active Risk Manager.
