Project Coordinator, Nuclear Energy & EVM
Overview
Coordinate project planning, execution, and closeout for a major advanced nuclear energy project in Bellevue, WA. Own cost, schedule, and scope management using Earned Value Management and Primavera P6. Work with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver milestones on time and within budget. This long-term contract role offers exposure to complex engineering projects and a collaborative PMO environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Drive project cost, schedule, and scope management using Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
- 2Align work scope, staffing, and resources with engineering and project management teams for milestone delivery.
- 3Build and maintain resource-loaded schedules, adjusting for evolving priorities.
- 4Monitor cost and schedule performance with Earned Value Management to spot variances early.
- 5Develop corrective action and recovery plans to mitigate schedule or budget risks.
- 6Maintain project documentation and records according to corporate procedures.
- 7Update risk registers and track mitigation actions with Jira and Confluence.
- 8Prepare status reports and meeting notes for stakeholders and the PMO.
- 9Coordinate communication across multidisciplinary teams to resolve blockers.
Requirements9
- 13+ years supporting project management or project delivery in engineering or technical environments.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- 3Working knowledge of project scheduling, budget tracking, and Earned Value Management.
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
- 5Experience with Primavera P6 for resource-loaded scheduling.
- 6Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for issue tracking and documentation.
- 7Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- 8Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-team coordination.
- 9Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining detail orientation.
