Overview

You will own the family-office product layer at Savvy, a Series B wealth-tech startup scaling at 500% year-over-year. This role defines which services beyond investment management advisors deliver, from tax and estate to trusts and insurance. You will build the product strategy, own the partner ecosystem, and make build-vs-buy calls that shape the platform. Your work connects directly to advisor growth and retention, backed by $105M in funding. You will collaborate with AI models like Claude to design AI-native experiences for advisors and their clients.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Own the family-office strategy: set the roadmap for tax, estate, trust, insurance, lending, and giving services, deciding the order and scope for each.
  • 2Manage the partner ecosystem: evaluate, negotiate, and manage external partners, owning the product relationship from contract to integration and ongoing performance.
  • 3Make build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions for each service, balancing business model, customer experience, and regulatory constraints.
  • 4Productize manual services: design workflows that scale, identify where human touch adds value, and unify multiple partners behind a single Savvy experience.
  • 5Design AI-native features: build automated document workflows, tax-transcript capture, and visualization of estate structures that front-run client meetings.
  • 6Build the business case for the family-office layer: model adoption, attach rates, pricing, partner economics, and impact on advisor growth and retention.
  • 7Drive cross-functional execution: unblock engineering, design, advisor success, compliance, and external partners on regulated timelines.
  • 8Leverage non-software solutions, including third-party manual processes, to deliver value while the product matures.
  • 9Foster cross-functional alignment, ensuring all teams understand the product vision and latest developments.

Requirements8

  • 15+ years of product management experience, including time at a high-growth tech startup.
  • 2Built or owned products that rely on external partners, with experience negotiating scope, integrating third-party APIs, and owning the user experience around external services.
  • 3Owned a product or business line end-to-end, including business case development such as adoption, pricing, partner economics, or P&L thinking.
  • 4Shipped AI-powered products, owning the roadmap for an AI feature or product from concept to launch.
  • 5Strong business, design, and technical acumen, with the ability to make trade-offs and drive decisions.
  • 6Preferred: domain depth in tax, estate planning, trusts, insurance, or lending.
  • 7Preferred: experience standing up a new product line or services business from zero.
  • 8Preferred: experience with RIAs or broker-dealers and their compliance rules.
