What You'll Do11
- 1Develop a data platform infrastructure strategy addressing large open-ended problems using forward-thinking approaches
- 2Contribute to strategic direction of Platform Engineering team
- 3Create technical strategy for complex requirements with innovative solutions
- 4Provide leadership and technical expertise supporting technology strategy across platforms
- 5Build cross-functional relationships and participate in high-visibility technical projects
- 6Stay current with industry trends through continuous education and mentoring junior engineers
- 7Support risk management and protect system integrity and data confidentiality
- 8Mentor junior team members on techniques tools and best practices
- 9Implement CI/CD engineering practices and support code management platforms
- 10Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- 11Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks
Requirements13
- 1Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- 2Proficiency in CI/CD engineering practices
- 3Demonstrated experience with on-premise and AWS Cloud infrastructure
- 4Experience with Docker Podman and Kubernetes container orchestration
- 5Familiarity with Harness GitLab Artifactory code management platforms
- 6Strong understanding of IaC development using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- 7Expertise in Python Java JavaScript or Shell scripting languages
- 8Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 9Ability to make critical technical tradeoff decisions impacting multiple teams
- 10Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 11AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification or within one year of hire
- 12Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification preferred
- 13FinTech experience is a plus
