Overview
We seek a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design and development of electro-mechanical equipment in Seven Valleys PA. The ideal candidate will work directly with design teams and manufacturing vendors to design troubleshoot diagnose and solve product challenges from concept to production. This onsite role offers unique opportunities to influence product evolution while collaborating across internal and external partners.
What You'll Do7
- 1Design systems and integrate multiple systems using SolidWorks from initial concept through production launch
- 2Generate and provide analysis of FEA studies in Solidworks
- 3Create and analyze drawings from parts assemblies adhering to ASME 14.100 and MIL-STD-31000 standards
- 4Assist in production problem solving by interfacing with manufacturing teams to develop creative solutions
- 5Communicate and collaborate with team members and represent the company with customers and suppliers
- 6Maintain update drawings and bills of material
- 7Offer test support and ensure compliance with engineering documentation requirements
Requirements8
- 14-year Mechanical Engineering degree with 10+ years of hands-on experience
- 22-year technical college degree or military experience combined with 15+ years of mechanical and design experience
- 3Expertise in designing mechanical systems and power generation distribution systems especially medium and low voltage switchgear
- 4Proficiency in Electrical/engine driven systems integration
- 5Strong knowledge of engineering drawing practices including ASME Y14 sheet metal structural fabrication weldments enclosure design with thermal analysis solidworks and 2D CAD electrical schematics reading ability
- 6Eligibility for U.S. Security Clearance
- 7Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
- 8Bold certifications such as CPC Card BCBA AWS Certified
