What You'll Do11
- 1Manage production equipment and process improvements to meet daily schedules while enhancing quality
- 2Provide technical mentorship to engineers and technicians
- 3Conduct Process FMEAs and Process Validations to drive validation strategies
- 4Improve product quality and throughput using Lean manufacturing concepts
- 5Coordinate tooling design procurement and debugging with machinery implementation
- 6Lead projects with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives
- 7Support Product Development for Design for Manufacturability initiatives
- 8Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and QMS/EMS standards
- 9Maintain positive communication across all organizational levels
- 10Drive innovation with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment
- 11Contribute to Abbott's mission of restoring health through device solutions
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Chemical or related engineering field
- 2Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
- 3Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- 4Proven leadership experience in team settings
- 5Ability to thrive in matrixed and geographically diverse environments
- 6Experience with Lean manufacturing principles
- 7Familiarity with FDA regulations and quality management systems
- 8Excellent verbal and written communication skills
