Lead operational leadership for Policy Advocacy and Integrated Advocacy Departments to advance policy priorities. Supervise staff and coordinate cross-department collaboration. Ensure policy initiatives align with organizational goals.
What You'll Do5
- 1Work with Policy Program Directors to advance integrated advocacy campaigns across policy advocacy organizing and legislative advocacy strategies.
- 2Supervise multiple Policy Directors and staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- 3Hold staff accountable for work plans and oversee cross-departmental campaign execution.
- 4Support Policy Directors in developing long-term priorities and manage campaign strategy implementation.
- 5Analyze legislation and regulations to provide policy feedback to stakeholders and collaborate on emerging issues.
Requirements5
- 1BA required; JD or advanced degree preferred
- 2Minimum two years managing staff or teams
- 3Five years policy advocacy experience
- 4Track record of developing and implementing policy advocacy campaigns
- 5Senior policy position requiring political acumen
