Overview
The Senior Manager for Institutional Giving leads the Institutional Giving program overseeing fund generation through philanthropic and family foundations and corporate giving. This role directs prospecting research proposal writing and reporting while collaborating with senior leadership. The ideal candidate will drive growth and maintain strong donor relationships.
What You'll Do16
- 1Collaborate with senior management to build and maintain a strategic Institutional Giving program
- 2Develop and implement annual institutional giving strategy to grow foundation and government funding
- 3Identify evaluate and qualify new institutional funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- 4Maintain relationship records through Salesforce AmpliFund and electronic files
- 5Conduct research and build relationships with existing and prospective funders
- 6Work with Patient Services Community Education Human Resources Finance and other departments to develop compelling program narratives
- 7Independently draft institutional donor materials including proposals reports and meeting memos
- 8Monitor grant compliance to ensure adherence to funder requirements reporting deadlines budgets and deliverables
- 9Coordinate with program and finance staff to ensure accurate implementation and reporting of grant-funded activities
- 10Maintain accurate institutional giving revenue forecasts and assist with annual budgeting and financial planning
- 11Collect program outcomes and impact data to support competitive proposals reports and organizational storytelling
- 12Gather analyze and synthesize finance reports and budgetary information in collaboration with Finance Department
- 13Project track and report to senior management weekly and monthly progress toward program goals and revenue targets
- 14Advise and support President/CEO Chief Partnerships Officer Health Center staff and Board members with briefing materials and talking points
- 15Ensure grant proposals and contracts are reviewed by senior management and signed by President/CEO
- 16Establish a grants calendar to effectively track funds through the donor cycle

- 15+ years building Institutional Giving programs
- 2Proficiency in Google Workspace SalesForce and AmpliFund
- 3Ability to write proposals and reports that demonstrate strategic impact
- 4Strong analytical skills for data collection and synthesis
- 5Experience managing cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- 6Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- 7Self-motivated with minimal direct supervision
- 8Reliable transportation and availability for weekend evening work
- 9Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant experience
- 10Understanding of nonprofit fundraising processes and grant compliance requirements
