What You'll Do11
- 1Build and operate production AI agents using LangGraph and deepagents frameworks
- 2Design reusable components for reasoning retrieval and tool integration including MCP
- 3Partner with Agentic UI team to deliver seamless end‑to‑end products
- 4Own retrieval stack optimization with vector and hybrid search embeddings chunking reranking
- 5Create evaluation safeguards for LLM outputs focusing on citation faithfulness and groundedness
- 6Deploy machine learning on real‑world evidence sources such as claims EHR and registries
- 7Automate data ingestion pipelines into AI‑ready datasets on platforms like Databricks
- 8Own deployment monitoring observability using LangSmith for shipped systems
- 9Translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights for technical and non‑technical Medical Affairs partners
- 10Align AI initiatives with enterprise governance privacy and PHI compliance requirements
- 11Drive cross‑functional engagement and maintain production reliability data access authentication and PHI handling standards
Requirements12
- 1Ph.D. in quantitative or medical adjacent field with first‑author publications or top conference research
- 27+ years applied machine learning or data science experience including 3+ years shipping production ML/AI systems
- 31+ year hands‑on agentic AI development using LangGraph deepagents or LangSmith
- 4Strong RAG and retrieval engineering with vector hybrid search embeddings and reranking capabilities
- 5Applied ML on real‑world or patient‑level data including claims EHR and registry feature engineering
- 6Experience with production reliability data access authentication and PHI handling
- 7Strong communication and collaboration across scientific technical and business teams
- 8Healthcare or life sciences background preferred
- 9Production experience with deepagents LangGraph and LangSmith MCP tools Azure Databricks Unity Catalog Microsoft Fabric or OneLake
- 10Proven track record deploying agents at scale with LLM evaluation and observability
- 11Background in real‑world evidence epidemiology or HEOR analytics
- 12Medical Affairs experience valued
