Overview
You'll own advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for manufacturing, laboratory, and utility systems in a regulated environment. You'll maintain critical refrigeration, including cold rooms, freezers, and ultra-low temperature units, and support installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment. What You'll Do8
- 1Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing, laboratory, and utility equipment, focusing on refrigeration and vacuum systems
- 2Maintain and support cold rooms, freezers, and ultra-low temperature storage units to ensure temperature integrity
- 3Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and instrumentation failures using technical documentation and analytical methods
- 4Install and commission new equipment and system upgrades, ensuring compliance with qualification protocols
- 5Analyze equipment performance data to implement corrective and preventive actions that reduce downtime
- 6Perform preventive maintenance on lyophilization equipment and related process utilities
- 7Document all maintenance activities and communicate status to stakeholders
- 8Drive root-cause analysis for recurring failures and implement permanent fixes
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
- 26+ years of progressively responsible maintenance experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
- 3EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required
- 4Demonstrated expertise in industrial refrigeration systems, diagnostics, and repair
- 5Experience maintaining lyophilization equipment, vacuum systems, and related process utilities
